YHKCC Rugby Unite with Philippines Rugby and the Pot Belly Pigs Charity
Last month players from the Philippines National Men’s Rugby side, The Volcanos, visited our school to run a very exciting and energetic rugby workshop. We had a big turnout from both our boys and girls teams, taking part in sessions run by the National Players, Jovan, Jonel and Jo Mari.
Gratitude should be given to Jovan, Jonel and Jo Mari as well as Ross Bendix and the boys from the Pot Belly Pigs for making this a great experience. We hope to further develop our ties with Philippines Rugby over the coming years and get involved in, not only the rugby, but the charity work of the Pot Belly’s helping the poor and the underprivileged in the Philippines.
